hi guys.

i just dropped out of a project which was suddenly stopped and have plenty of time now. so i am available for commissions for a while.

thought it couldn´t hurt to post it here. maybe you know someone who would need my services...

Thats me..

my name is Alex Broeckel. I am a freelance Concept Artist and Digital Painter.

with a background of 12+ years as a professional 3d artist i spent most of my time building and lighting digital environments for the entertainment industry.
I worked as a lighting TD on movies like Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban or Roman Polanski´s Oliver Twist.

Because of that background i tend to paint with a strong emphasis on lighting and moods, but still very detailed.

amazing how you handle the light (no wonder regarding your CV), but still amazing...
